Memorial Day: What to Expect

Memorial Day has finally arrived! With it comes a lot of brand new items on the catalog. The sale is happening from the 27 up until the 30. That means there will be a lot of things happening. Roblox has been kind enough to share with us some information regarding the sale.

There are four main info providers: Roblox Notification in Messages (where the picture comes from), the Roblox Blog and its video, the Twitch Stream, and the Twitter of Roblox and some of its employees. So what's in store for us?

Both the blog and notification mention over 50 items being featured in the huge sale. This includes new items, price discounts, items going back on sale, items going limited, and brand new limiteds.

What are some items you can expect?

Well from the Notification we can tell there will be at least five brand new items. This includes: Statue of Liberty Crown, a Fire version of the Real Ice Cold Stunnas, Plunger Swordpack, a Guitar with a strap, and Mrs. Helperbot.

The blog video mostly focuses on items already in the catalog. It mentions that Snow Queen (package) will be 50% off, Sleek Sunglasses will be 80% off (which if I'm not doing my math wrong, means that they will be on sale for 300 Robux), Workclock Headphones will be going back on sale. And if the video doesn't lie then Purple Action Ponytail, WWII Infantry Helmet, Robloxian 2.0, and Sk10r Boi will be all sold for 1 Robux.

One thing that's worth mentioning however, is that while all this is being announced in the video, in the background we see pictures of all sorts of items. This includes: (I'm mentioning only the ones that aren't specifically mentioned in the video) Fallen Artemis Bow, Red Rolling Hoverboard, Frost Guard General, Deluxe Game Headset, ROBLOX Summer Glider, Gigantohorns, Black Wings, Classic Swordpack Throwback, Virtual Commando, Bucket of the Sea, and finally either a Green Banded Top Hat or a Yellow Banded Top Hat. It's hard to tell them apart in black and white. Now I'm expecting most of these items just to go on discount but the Glider, Gigantohorns, and Commando will most likely go limited as they are either old or off sale. Or off sale and really popular in the community and therefore possibly voted often to go limited (cough, cough, Virtual Commando).

The next set of clues comes from the blog itself. It tells that stuff will go limited, big heads will go on sale, there will be 1 Robux items, there will be new wings, new hair, new headphones, new swords, and finally items released in all time zones. Fun for every country in the whole world!

During the Twitch Stream, Roblox announced that there will be a 'big' limited that will be priced at 50k Robux. It is also definitely worth it, according to them. Whatever it is you know it's gonna look super cool!

The twitter posts so far only say that there will a completely Free item released.
