Angry Bird Promotional Items

Another day in Roblox and another sponsor. This time it's the brand new Angry Birds Movie (in theaters May 20)!

And as Roblox says, this means that they are bringing Irate (which means "feeling or characterized by great anger", I had no idea this word existed even) Headphones and a Mask of Red. Which in simple terms means you can buy headphones and the main protagonist's (Red) head. But unlike most of the other promotional events this one just allows you to buy the items instead of earning them in game. Even though Angry Bird's apparently sponsored Miners Haven... ON TO THE REVIEWS

Angry Birds: Red's Mask

Feeling angry? Wear Red's Mask to show some attitude.

I am actually kinda happy for a movie of this sort. I wasted way too much time during my middle school days playing Angry Birds and this just brings back old times. Ah, nostalgia. Well anyway, the first hat from the promotion was the Angry Birds: Red's Mask hat and as you may have guessed it is Free. It hasn't even been on the catalog for a full 24 hours and 100k+ people have already clicked the buy button. But that doesn't mean this hat is perfect. The overall shape is flat on the bottom and looks a little weird on your character but maybe that's what they aimed for, who knows. The eyes however are starring off into something above him which doesn't really look that great. You look really derpy in all the profile thumbnails just starring into space above you. However I want to end on a positive note. Therefore, I like the color choice. It's really bright and cheerful.

Angry Birds' Headphones

It's a bird, it's a plane, no..it's music!

The next item to come out was the 'Irate Headphones'. Also known as the Angry Birds' Headphones, this item, as you move have already guessed, was also Free like Red's Mask. But this is not the first time this mesh (mesh is the shape of the headphones) has been seen on the catalog. I could find four other headphones, the earliest one being the Alien Egg Headphones. The newest one before this one was the Irish Flag Headphones. While most of the other versions are pretty simple this one is even more simple compared to them. Just red and white and black with the Angry Birds Movie logo, cool! And although it's cool to get a free pair of headphones this also comes with its own slight of problems. The top is curved and is pretty tall so there is a lot of space between your head and these headphones. In fact there's so much space that most baseball caps fit perfectly underneath it, almost like they are meant to... (skeptical face)
